Patients Comments

"The staff at the Heart Care centre are fantastic and are there to help and guide you and have a great deal of patients. I have a lot of health issues at the moment and my goal is to try and make things better especially with mobility in my legs but being as I have also a lower back problem there is only so much I can do.  The staff have been brilliant and have encouraged me to go at my own pace so not to cause discomfort with my back. It has also given me a new lease of life as it's encouraged me to go out again which will help with my anxiety and depression. Well done to all the staff your one in a million". Shazza

" Just wanted to say a huge thank you for looking after me following my heart attack.  The help and support we received from you was excellent and we are so grateful.  I really enjoyed coming to see you twice a week!!  You have now treated 3 generations of my family and the work you do is just fantastic!  We will continue to support you as much as we can so that others can benefit from your hard work for many years to come.  Once again a massive thank you!"   James Cardiac Rehab Patient

"I attended Pulmonary Rehab and the staff were most helpful and encouraging.  Although initially booked for a 6 weeks course, I have continued to attend as I believe the exercises have been beneficial to my health.  I have lost pounds and inches!"   Pulmonary Rehab Patient

Kim usually attends one of our Tai-chi sessions however during Coronavirus she has been accessing the Tai-Chi videos online and also the home exercises videos, which she has made part of her weekly routine and is really enjoying them. Kim said "I am impressed by the staffs efforts to not only keep the website up to date but to give everyone a call to check they are safe and well, I am clapping on the doorstep on a Thursday night at 8pm and this includes my thanks to Heart Care in that clap" Kim Green

My name is Kanti Patel and I attended Heartcare from December 2019 to March 2020. I have made a donation to thank Heartcare for their support whilst I was recovering from heart surgery. The team were kind, supportive and accommodated my individual needs. In particular a big thank you to Ryan and Ewan for my exercise support, and Carol for listening to me. I had never been in a gym before which I am sure you could tell from my Arnold Schwarzenegger physique (haha I wish). The gym made me feel comfortable which helped my attendance and recovery. I would recommend the programme to anyone who may require it. I cannot put a price on my recovery but hope my small donation goes somewhere toward thanking you all and helping the organisation. Thanks.

" I really appreciate the last 8 weeks where without my regular calls from Heart Care I would have felt very much on my own. It felt lovely to know that someone cares about what I am doing and feel that having contact has meant I have had the incentive to get up and do some exercise, and do more than I would have done otherwise!" Dianne

"I want to say a big thank you and well done to all the staff at heart care for everything that has been done so that it is now open again πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ it does feel feel very safe when u go for your exercise". Sue

"Thank you and your team for all your hard work in organsing the return of Heart Care Streetly classes. It is very much appreciated and good to be back. Ray and Carole

"I am so happy to be back at my allotment and walking my dog, and want to say what a fantastic service Heart Care has been, I want to award you all with a medal" Ray

Healthy Eating Talk -  "It was very informative some of the things I didn't know, well worth going Sarah made it very interesting". Thank you to everyone who attended and keep an eye on on our Website and Facebook page for future talks! Paul
